Your Image in Print

In our media-oriented society, like it or not, your survival and growth are often based on how you appear in print. Worse, many buyers will select your competitor based on what they read about or by him/her.
Pick up your area's business magazines or even the business section of your daily newspaper. Every issue of these publications carries an interview with or feature on a local entrepreneur. The majority of these stories are placed by someone who has been paid by the person featured in the story. The reprint then makes for an excellent addition to a speaker's packet.
The same thing occurs with books. Many of the books that make it to a meeting planner's desk are ghostwritten. What's more, even a book jacket, without the book itself, can have great impact.
